100% Parent Participation in 100 Days
Asawa SOTA is such a special place and contributions made to the Annual Fund go a long way to keeping it that way. Our goal is 100% parent participation and whatever you can give will be deeply appreciated. August 21, 2017 marks the launch of FoSOTA’s 100 Days for 100% Participation! Your donation to the Annual Fund helps us reach 100% parent participation. Be counted toward your student’s department goal! Mark your calendar – fund drive week will take place October 23th-27th, 2017.
Why 100 days?
The purpose of this time frame is to secure gifts and pledges early, since a solid financial footing paves the way for all the exciting plans and necessary operations throughout the year.
How is the money used?
Money contributed towards your department’s Annual Fund is used to hire professional Artists-in-Residence who offer specialized instruction, arrange personalized master classes, fund 100% of the College Center, and pay for supplies and performance spaces. These amenities create the conservatory-style environment where your young artist will hone his/her craft.
How much should I/we contribute?
Please give as generously as possible and from your heart. Think about what Asawa SOTA’s arts programs mean to you and your family. Gifts of all sizes, big and small, are welcome and appreciated!
How do we reach 100%?
Each family is counted toward their departments 100% goal once we receive their Annual Fund gift or pledge. When more parents donate, the school is positioned better to receive grants from others who naturally want to see you donating to the school your student attends.
Can I sign-up to volunteer for Fund Drive Week?
Yes! Our active group of parent volunteers are an important part of FoSOTA’s 100% in 100 Days Drive, and we are grateful for your commitment. If you would like to volunteer for Fund Drive Week (October 23-27, 2017), please speak with your department liaison or let us know!
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Annual Fund donations are tax deductible under the law as FoSOTA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
What if I am unable to give a monetary gift at this time?
Every Annual Fund contribution, regardless of the amount, will count towards your department’s participation. However, if you are unable to make a monetary donation at this time, please enroll so we can update our database. There are many opportunities for you to help SOTA excel. Consider making time to volunteer at school, chaperone a field trip and/or provide concessions for an upcoming performance. Your involvement is greatly appreciated.
