Pizza Farm! Awarded SF Parks Alliance Grant
FOSOTA gets cooking with events celebrating farm-to-fork culinary arts at McAteer Campus Community Farm.
We are honored to have been selected for a ShineOn SF Action Award grant from SF Parks Alliance to present Pizza Farm!—a series of free public events featuring pizza making, performances, gardening, and sustainable culinary arts at SFUSD’s McAteer Campus Community Farm.
Action Awards, notes the SF Parks Alliance, are funded by San Francisco Office of Economic and Workforce Development to “enable the small but mighty efforts that reconnect people to our city, each other, and the outdoors through free events.”
Connect with us in the fields as we fire up the farm’s newly restored adobe pizza oven and get cooking in the service of stewardship, knowledge sharing, camaraderie, and farm-to-fork sustainability.
